History of Herb Day

Herb Day is an annual celebration dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of herbs and herbalism. Organized by the Herb Day Coalition—a collaboration of five nonprofit organizations—it features educational events that highlight the many ways herbs can be safely and creatively used for health, beauty, and culinary purposes. By promoting greater familiarity with herbs and their preparations, Herb Day encourages informed use and supports personal choice in botanical wellness. The coalition includes the American Botanical Council, United Plant Savers, American Herbal Products Association, American Herbal Pharmacopoeia, and American Herbalists Guild.
